After installing Windows 7 in my laptop, I had to use some of my DVD image files. As usual I tried installing Magic Disc which is my favorite Virtual DVD Drive. The installation had shown up some problems and finally somehow I was able to launch Magic Disc but I failed to map the image file and instead I tried Virtual Clone Drive. Now things are working fine but Virtual Clone Drive is not having much options and easiness of use like Magic Disc. Bye Magic Disc at least till you fix the problems with Win7.
Update[3/15/2009 - 10:06 AM IST] : My all-time-favorite Magic Disc is now supporting Windows 7. You can download it from their website.

yeah also daemon tools refuses to update their software for windows 7 beta.
now lots of users are changing to other disc mounting tools such as Pismo File Mount, which somehow works fine with win7 beta plus more options for free.
stubborn people who refuses to go with flow fails or loses, take LAIR for PS3, users demand analog stick controls but the LAIR devs refuses to make it asap, they only made analog patch later which results in lackluster sales.
Magig disc has been updated and now works with windows 7. I’m using it!
nice post.. thanks for this info…i’ll try it…
Magic disc not working with 64 bit W7 to me.
running MagicDisc on Win7 x64 RC with 2 virtual drives, everythings working fine (Y)
Careful w/ 64 bit win and MagicDisc. It worked fine on 2 of my computers and has completely hosed a fresh re-install of a 3rd computer. The first app I installed on the new OS was magicdisc and I’ve been getting hard OS locks ever since. Going to re-pave and start over.
