Boost Library Installer For Windows ( Visual C++ 7.1/8.0 ) [For Linux/Unix flavors too]

I accidently came to see an announcement (may be I’m a bit late) in Boost-Consulting that currently providing installation of compiled library binaries of Boost.

It’s really handy for those novices to experience the power of Boost library. My personal opinion is that this should be available through the boost.org website for it’s users.

As Stroustrup said in his article regarding C++ 0x, C++ remains as geek’s programming language and in the computer industry; there will be more novices than geeks. Many people are the users of C++ than language experts. Programmers will be specialized in their specified area than being an expert of C++ language. Normally people will not dig into the details or they will not be aware of configuring a library for their use.

This is really a nice effort and kudos to Boost-Consulting team.
